Peer Recovery
Support from others who understand your situation can be life changing. Too often, people who haven’t been in similar situations give well-meaning advice, but it may be unhelpful. During SUD recovery, it’s important to have others around you who are going through the same things. Peer support can give you hope, a sense of belonging, accountability and healthy role models, all of which are valuable in recovery.
