Mission: NAMI provides advocacy and support for both individuals experiencing behavioral health concerns and family members. The organization has a reputation as the nation’s voice on mental illness. They make that reputation real on a daily basis both as the largest grassroots advocacy organization addressing mental illness, and as the way people whose lives have been affected by mental illness find their individual and collective voice
