The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) newly established National Center of Excellence on Social Media and Youth Mental Health has launched a question and answer portal for families, educators, clinicians and other stakeholders to submit questions via the question submission form, which are answered by expert staff and our co-medical directors. The question and response portal, hosted by the American Academy of Pediatrics, is searchable by age and includes all previously asked questions and responses made to date. Questions so far range in topic from school policies on digital devices to how to support young children’s behavior related to digital media to how to support teens expressing body image concerns.
