Finding a job can be difficult, especially if you are someone who didn’t get the resources you needed to build a career due to SUD, other mental health concerns, or other unfortunate situations. Being steadily employed is important for a wide variety of reasons- you receive more independence, higher confidence and pride, a way to meet other like-minded individuals and, of course, a means to support yourself and your family. Luckily, it’s never too late to reach your career goals. There are various resources designed to help you finish your education, provide support during the job search process and fill out job applications to get the career you want.
