Jennifer is the Community Health Coordinator for Adena Health System. One of the roles of Community Health is to be the bridge between Adena and community partners and stakeholders. In a nutshell, she works with community partners to address disparities that ultimately impact clinical care. She is a LISW-S and graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor of science degree in Journalism (specialization was marketing); bachelor of arts in social work; and a MSW (master of social work). Her social work experience has been primarily in healthcare settings including working in a critical access hospital most of her career. In her current role she works with community partners in many of the counties Adena serves. Jennifer is not only active in her role with Adena but also in many other community organizations. Such as the organizational advisor for the Mud Cre 4-H Club, Ross County Continuum of Care to End Homelessness, Prevention-Recovery Coalition in Pike County and Faith in Recovery – Fayette County Prevention Coalition.
