Through our prevention, education, and community efforts over the last several years, the number of overdose cases in Ross County has decreased, six (6) harm-reduction vending machines have been stationed throughout the county, and dozens of community/employment forums and events have been hosted, leading to increased awareness and support.
We know that Ross County isn’t alone in its struggle against substance use disorder. Other communities across the country are also looking for ways to lessen the impact and damage caused by this harmful epidemic. We are here to share the knowledge and experience we gained in developing these programs and partnerships with other counties, municipalities, and agencies that are interested in implementing them themselves.
The greater our ability to collaborate throughout the country, the more lives we will save.
The Hope Partnership Project (HPP) Collaborative works to connect differing areas of substance use disorder (SUD) operations and information by pulling in agencies, organizations, and community members into a unified forum. We offer formal and informal points of contact and speed-up critical SUD decision-making in our county as well as real-time information around services, care gaps and successful programs. The HPP sponsors and participates in multiple community events. We provide a ready coalition and advisory guidance for SUD grants purposes, as well.
We are open and able to personally meet with you to answer your questions regarding Harm Reduction, Substance Use Disorder (SUD), and/or Hope Partnership Project. We are committed to discussing all matters, regardless of controversy, to promote open conversations, reduce stigma, and increase awareness.
